Different forms of media can have different effect on social behaviours and identity. As time goes by, new forms of media appeared, they brought out new effect also. Before Herbert Marshall McLuhan pointed out that the electronic mass media can break the boundary of time and space in human communication, at that time, we are just like living in a global village. It means the electronic media can turn the global become one village. That will be the new social behaviours, and people in the world will have a new identity, we are all become the citizen of the global village.
Nowadays, that electronic media is what we are talking about Internet and World Wild Web. At the present time, internet provided another stage for people to get involved their social activities. Large among of people are using internet for communicating with others. We can find that there are lots of tools for people use to chat, like Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Skype and so forth. The new visions of those chatting tools are coming day-to-day. From the one which just can use text message until nowadays we can use microphone and web cam at the same time. That changes the human communication and become the extension of human sensation in the virtual world.
