Victim or Adventurer

There is a quote from a book that I re-read recently
--- Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho.

"I can choose either to be a victim of the world or an adventurer in search of treasure. It's all a question of how I view my life."

I totally agree w/ it, dun you?!
I always think that how you treat yourselves is just depends on your choice, no matter happiness/ sadness, it's not a new topic.

you can use this attitude to due w/ everything happened in your life...

So, if you still choose to suffer for your "unsuccessful" love affair...
oh is ok ...
but ...
I just feel so sorry about you...and your OWN life...

MODIFYING THE PREVIOUS RESPONSE

Had it been so easy to control mind , the world would have turned into heaven.Sadly , first we preapare criminals and then carve means for their improvement.Is that the way to regulate the affairs of human life ?

  at first, wt I want to say is jusr simple... told ppl that when facing sth bad/sadness... it is no use to choose to be feeling "sad" all the time... if you always "put down your head", you will miss many beautiful view...
  and I believe that "feeling" is sth you can control... you are telling yourself to be happy/ sad... is your own choice...
  
  as you said the criminals and the regulation...
  set harsh rules to regulate to prevent is not the best way to reduce crime...
  Education help ppl to control themselvem...
  human more than just an animal, should know wt is self-discipline...
  that can also back to the "feeling" topic...if you let yourself be "victim of the world ", cry cry cry, sad sad sad sll day, is your own choice , just you waste your own time ...

    Dear Pizzaq ,
    It's indeed a pleasing thing to vibe with such terrific optimism . Hope you continue to dispay such cheerfulness all through your life . However ,like to add that betrayl breaks heart .It's one thing to lose your love ,and another to kill love through shrewd tactics.The world would be a better place if instead of words of consolation , there are neans to prevent beautiful things from becoming victim of wickedness of limited minds .
